This is an exceptional 1934-manufactured revolver that remains in excellent condition with about 99% original blue showing very light high edge wear and perhaps a few handling marks one must really search for. The checkered trigger and the service hammer retain full blue finish with minor oxidation stains on the bright sides hammer. The fully checkered walnut factory grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions are numbered to the gun and rate about very fine showing little wear but the right panel has a series of light dents, dings and scuffs. The little gun still times and locks up as tightly as the day it left Hartford. An investment grade Bankers Special missing only an original box to be nearly “N.I.B”. There is no box or papers.
