It features a super lightweight but ultra tough CNC-machined aluminum hard anodized receiver rather than the stainless steel receiver on which the other Volquartsen rifles are built. The receiver has an integrated Picatinny rail and the receiver is threaded to accept their lighweight THM tension barrel. Trigger pull runs right at 2.25 pounds. The rifle has an ambidextrous Hogue stock that is not only accommodating to right hand shooters but left handers as well. The Superlite features a removable 32 Hole Compensator that is threaded on using 1/2 x 28 threads. Rifle weighs in right at 5 pounds without scope or red dot sight. Would make an excellent rifle for Steel Challenge competition especially with a good red dot mounted. Being lightweight it should transition the targets very fast. No 3 or 4 month wait on one of the best rifles out there. Any questions just ask.
