Description: Springfield M1 Garand bayonet. U.S. Rifle caliber 30 M1 (30-06) semi auto rifle. Serial number indicates produced August 1943. Barrel replaced at Springfield Arsenal January, 1955. CMP checked and vetted and new CMP stock added. Muzzle Reading 1, throat reading 2 by CMP measurements. OAL 43.5", LOP 13". Finish on metal appears original with new buttstock. Firearm feeds, fires, extracts, and ejects shells like new. Also ejects empty Enbloc clips readily and safety works fine. Comes with CMP Literature and CMP marked gun case. Barrel shiny throughout with no rust or pitting. No rust on rifle. CMP authentication included. Comes with CMP instruction booklet. SN 1887075. Ships by USPO as C&R.
