I think it was an original 26" Mod chambered 3" gun that Simmons put a rib on just after it was bought. My Dad knew the guys at Simmons since he worked at Hodgdons. The bluing is I'd say 98% anf the wood the same. We take excellent care in our clan. The barrel was originally marked MOD, but either Simmons or Hodgdons made it SKEET. The gun is in great shape and works in a flawless manner. I believe it is a 1961 build. 154313 SN. It has not been used since the 70's. Every few years it was cleaned with the others.
