1988 6" Colt King Cobra 150th-year .357 Magnum revolver, in the rare "Ultimate" polished Bright Stainless finish model AA3061. 1-Owner gun (me) as part of my private collection and as such, it is in mint condition with box / papers and comes with some very nice extras.
This variation of the King Cobra (Model AA3061) was made for just four years, 1. The low Serial Number C2880K dates to 1988, the first year of production. This particular King Cobra left the Colt factory in November 1987.
It is a highly polished stainless steel double action revolver, six inch barrel with solid rib. Sights are red ramp front and adjustable white outline rear. Cylinder holds 6 rounds of .357 Magnum or .38 Special. Black presentation grips with Colt medallions.
This King Cobra is in "excellent-plus" condition and has been kept in a climate controlled vault. I purchased this KC new from a licensed private dealer in Hawaii in 1994, it is legal and registered in California and is able to transfer to new private-party owner without issue. There are no handling marks. Bore is perfect, action is buttery smooth and crisp as expected with an early Colt. There is no oxidation, rust or crust. Original grips look and feel like new with no wear.
This stunning Colt 150th Year Anniversary "snake gun" comes with its complete package: Colt 150th-year box with matching serial#, Colt manual, hang tag and all paperwork as issued. All items are "excellent-plus".

--->BONUS!<-- I am including a gorgeous custom walnut presentation box, it is hand made from beautiful antique walnut, matching grain end cuts, with special moisture block lining. The recess for pistol has magnets in it behind the felt liner to hold securely, yet it is easy to pick up. The pistol does not shift around at all and when box is closed. Everything including the speed loader is held in place securely. The box has a blue and gold metal Colt 150th Anniversary medallion on front, further adding to this snake gun's vintage history and uniqueness. I strongly suggest storing the King Cobra in the presentation box, to avoid ruining the original styrofoam box.
