At the end of World War 2 as a war trophy. Near excellent condition, measuring 28 inches by 75 inches in length. The flag is folded to fit in the photo...it's over 6 feet long! Made of cotton with two sided sewn on swaztika . Has a few minor tears near the bottom of the banner, with very light soiling marks/stains. The hanging end is sewn all the way across the 28 inch top and is open on both ends for the insertion of a pole for hanging/display. I find no makers marks or writing of any kind on the flag. This flag was found in the possessions of my father-in-law's estate...he served in Europe during World War 2 and was a trainer of guard dogs for POW camps and other guard duty uses. This is an excellent collectible in a World War 2 display from the notorious era of Nazi controlled third reich Germany. Estimated to having been produced circa 1 Germany.
