Ever since they came onto the market 20 years ago, Thermold brand, now Master Molder, magazines have been outstanding. They work. They do not necessarily free-fall or lock the bolt open, but they feed a mag full. These are not to be confused with the Eagle or Ram-Line magazines of the early 1990s; these are quality magazines. Body hardness approaches steel strength, a feature not shared with any other polymer made competing magazine. Manufacturer is Master Molder, aka Thermold Design & Development, of Wilson, NC, and Sandy Springs, GA. This magazine holds 30 cartridges or rounds of 7.62x39 ammunition; construction is high impact beveled graphite-based polymer. These will fit any Kalashnikov action rifle that will accept a standard AK47 magazine. They will not work in an SKS, will not work in an AR15, will not work on the dump lever of a 1947 John Deere Manure Spreader. They will only work in AK type rifles, like the currently produced Century RI series with Romanian parts, of the Norinco AKS rifles imported in such abundance during the 1980s and early 1990s.
