We are offering for sale a Remington Woodmaster 742 CARBINE chambered in 30-06 caliber. This is a scarce carbine model in good overall condition.
18” barrel is very good with light, scattered wear. Barrel has been drilled and has two filler screws where rear sight would be. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Receiver is in good condition; Receiver has been drilled and tapped. Receiver has also been fitted with a Williams peep scope. Detachable magazine included. -auto action works flawlessly. Glossed walnut shoulder stock is very good with some lighter signs of handling wear. Fore-end is not a match to the shoulder stock but is still very good with light handling wear.
