From the personal collection of one of our best local marksmen comes this 1960s factory Smith & Wesson Barrel off a model 14 Six Inch Revolver. Its parent revolver was pinned barrel, attest the groove in the threads. Extreme forward three threads are flattened, but that is not unusual and not a problem. Lug and retaining pin are intact and operable. Sight pin is also intact. Note the threading behind the sight groove. We are unclear whether or not this is original, but it is well centered. This barrel will rate Very Good finishwise by our estimate, since it has contact whitening that affects about 20 percent of its surface area. Note the caliber designation lettering on the right side of the barrel; this is likely a 1960s produced barrel. Its bore and chamber are bright, clean, and excellent, as the photos show.
