The brass was bought from a military training base. The Lake City Headstamp Date is 2010. We purchase only military brass wholesale and never from public or private ranges thereby insuring our claim that this is ONCE FIRED BRASS. The Process We clean and hand sort the brass thereby getting rid of unusable damaged brass up front. The de-priming, swaging, trimming and sizing is all done on a Dillon 1050 with automatic drive. The auto drive ensures that each stroke of the press is consistent and produces brass that will meet your expectations. These cases have been trimmed to 1.750 +/- .003 to fall within SAAMI specification. Lastly we clean off the brass in a stainless-steel tumbler ensuring the primer pockets and the brass is cleaned thoroughly inside and out. This brass is ready to be lubed and put through your reloading press. For orders of 1,000 or more we ship in a 50 Caliber Ammo can to prevent damage during shipping which provides you with a place to store your reloaded ammunition.
