Made in 1928, serial number 992424 has a 22-inch nickel steel round barrel with integral front sight boss. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.0 pounds and length-of-pull over steel butt is 13.0 inches. CONDITION: Bore is mirror bright and absent flaws. Rear sight is missing and dovetail plugged. A Lyman flip-up tang aperture and sling hook loops have been added. Barrel blue is at least 85 percent with sharp markings. Action blue has thinned to 40 percent. Wood integrity is excellent and wood condition is about 70 percent, with thinning varnish and a scattering of scratches and impressions. The price is firm and layaway is available.
