It is a wonderful little gun! The frame size is along the lines of a D-frame Colt, or Detective Special. Significantly smaller than the 1873, it is styled after. The barrel is 3.5" and bright blued, along with the cylinder and grip frame. The frame, hammer and loading gate are case-colored. It is a six-shot pistol with a birds-head grip frame, like the original model 1877. Unlike the original this pistol is single-action only. The grips are smooth, one-piece walnut with Cimarron medallions inset.
