This magazine will only fit a 1911 type Single Action Semi-Auto Pistol chambered in 9mm caliber: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, 9mm NATO, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Colt Models include Government and Commander, all variants with a full length grip frame. They will work just fine in the Armscor Rock Island Pistols chambered in 9mm. These magazines are just what the doctor ordered for the Colt Government pistols in 9mm. They Will Not work in a .45 Automatic; Will Not Work in a .38 Super; Will Not Work in an old Model Browning BDA 9mm; Will Not Work in an EAA Witness; Will Not Work on the valve of a 19th Century Italian Bidet.
