This sale is one price for two shotguns. These are Model 10 Remington Pump Guns. If you will reference the photo that shows both guns full length, I will discuss them in the order of top first and bottom second.
The top gun was made in 1925. The bbl is bright and shines inside - no rust.. The gun functions perfectly. The wood is NOT cracked and is very solid. The hard butt plate is original Remington. The metal has rust on the outside, but it is not pitted except at the end of the bbl. Note that the trademark is stamped on the side of the receiver and not on the lower tang. The bbl length is 31 inches - that's right 31 inches.
The bottom gun was made in 1923. The bbl is bright and shines inside - no rust. The gun functions perfectly. The wood is cracked and repaired at the grip. Fore end is solid. This gun has a Jostam pad and the length of pull is original at 14 inches. Very little rust and what is there is more of a blue discoloration. Note that the trademark is NOT stamped on the receiver, but is on the bottom tang. The bbl length is 29 inches - that's right, 29 inches.
Basically the top gun has the better wood (no cracks, etc.) and the bottom one has the better metal. Both of these guns are tight and don't show much mechanical wear at all.
You have the opportunity for two Model 10's as is, or put the good wood on the the good metal, or ???
Buyer will pay actual shipping and these much be shipped to an FFL dealer. (I am not one.) Remember, the asking price is for BOTH guns. Ask what you need to. I have included a bunch of pictures, so don't be bashful. You get two vintage Remington Model 10's in good working order.
