Description: Up for auction is a like-new Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag. (Technically, I have to say the gun is used, but I can absolutely say it doesn't seem as though it's every been fired.) It comes with scope rings and speed loaders. The revolver itself, as you know, has scope ring slots already machined into the frame. A long-eye-relief scope on this would give you accurate shots out to 100 yds. As a self-defense gun in bear country, this would be some serious "medicine," as Teddy Roosevelt used to say. In a bug-out bag for a SHTF scenario, this would take the place of a carbine or fold-stock rifle. And .44 ammo is widely available, especially outside the city. If you don't use it for hogs or deer, this would make an excellent and easily portable survival gun. The pictures show the condition; like I said, it's like new. So you don't have to pay new prices to get a new gun.
