Description: Here's something you don't see too often...a WWII military pistol in great condition! This is a Hi-Standard Model B-US pistol that was purchased by the United States Government during WWII. Chambered for the .22 Long Rifle, this pistol wears a 4-1/2" barrel with fixed service sights. The top of the barrel is factory roll marked "PROPERTY OF U.S.A." while the right side of the frame is government stamped "PROPERTY OF U.S." and is also marked with the "Ordnance Crossed Cannons" military acceptance. Slide and Frame serial numbers match. Disassembly is simple and the slide can be removed from the frame in 5 seconds...which makes for easy cleaning. The slide is properly serial numbered to the frame. Overall condition is excellent and about 86-96% commercial quality original early blue finish remains. There are some light handling marks and a little wear to the edges of the frame. There is no significant rust or any pitting. The original grips are in fine condition and free of cracks or chips. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Comes with the original 10-shot magazine. An excellent example that would make a great military collectible and a fine shooter as well! FFL required if out of state. Asking $800
