I was able to get in contact with Colt to find out the date this handgun was manufactured. With the serial number being SM33024 Colt did confirm the pistol was manufactured in 1980. I would rate the overall condition of this pistol at a 7/10, possible better if you consider the age of the firearm. The only cosmetic issue with this pistol is the "custom" front strap grip stippling that is not necessarily an A grade job.
