This Pepperbox was actually made in Norwich, Ct. This piece is a scarce example of a Manhattan Pepperbox. The company produced about 2,500 altogether, though in many different variations, including barrel lengths and number of shots. Features a double action trigger and hammer And revolves the barrel with a pull of the trigger. .The overall condition is good. The metal surfaces have a smooth, dark patina.
