This Pristine Browning Kolar Tube Set combines the Browning quality and reliability with the weight reduction of the Browning Carrier Barrels. This design utilizes the 12 Gauge standard barrels which reduce 12 gauge recoil in a shotgun that is moderately weighted and well balanced. Since adding the Kolar tubes to the standard 12 gauge Barrels would add 4-6 ounces per tube gauge and make the integrated system heavy, a carrier barrel is used to alleviate this problem. What is a Carrier Barrel????? A carrier Barrel is a barrel that has been hollowed out to reduce weight which can be used to house the sub-gauge tubes.
