This pistol dated 19.10 (October 1944 and manufactured Nagoya Arsenal Toriimatsu Branch Second Series(a Nagoya factory branch) is in remarkable condition retaining just about all of its original finish save for the safety lever scratch and some minor pitting near and on the date of mfg. The wood grips rate very good plus showing no dings dents or scratches. The right stock is loose (wiggles) which is quite common on the firearms. The safety lever is rotated toward the bbl. for fire ("ka") and back toward the butt for safe ("an" peaceful). Included are 2 magazines one numbered to the firearm and a second numbered to a different gun. Also included is a rubber latex hard clam shell holster which is in very good condition but having gotten stiff over the years. The holster has lost part of its leather tie down so it will no longer fasten. The holster in addition to the spare magazine contains an extra firing pin numbered to still yet another firearm. The firing pin is encased on the front of the holsters pouch and will not come out of its compartment without cutting a slit in the compartment. To the best of my knowledge once the holster stiffens there is no way to soften it up again. In all a very interesting kit which possibly was traded for during WWII or won in a poker game.
