Description: Lovely S&W Registered Magnum Revolver serial #46379, (Reg. #116), 357 Magnum, 6 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore. This attractive 1935 made revolver remains in outstanding condition and appears unfired since leaving the factory. The recoil shield has no bluing wear and the face of the cylinder shows no telltale flash rings at the end of the chambers. The metal surfaces retain about 97-98% original blue finish showing a series of very fine scratches on the left side of the frame next to the S&W logo, three very small impact marks on the front of the triggerguard that were lightly cleaned of burrs and a few other scattered scratches. The service hammer is the early style with concentric grooves on the side featuring beautiful case-hardened colors as does the service trigger. The replacement diamond checkered walnut factory Magna grips with silver S&W medallions rate near excellent with very light dents and scratches, mostly on the butt. All appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun, the grips are numbered to another gun. The Registered Magnums had many features available from the factory, this one was equipped with a Patridge front sight, black blade adjustable rear sight and it still functions as well as the day it left Springfield. The Registered Magnum is the darling of the Smith & Wesson collector crowd and this beauty is sure to stir interest. There is no box or papers.
