Description: The Gewehr 88 (commonly called the Model 1888 commission rifle) was a late 19th-century German bolt action rifle, adopted in 1888. SERIAL #: 4512 DESIGN: Bolt action with internal magazine. 30" barrel. MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued steel. Full length wood military stock. FEATURES: Blade front sight. Rear military ladder sight. Two barrel bands. Front barrel band as bayonet lug on left side. Top of crest stamped "DANZIG / 1890". Steel butt plate with top tang. Sling swivel on rear barrel band. Serial number matches on receiver, barrel, floor plate, bolt, and bottom of butt stock. C&R eligible. I do not ship to CA,CT,DC,MA,Nj,NY.
