Woody, Chief Inspector when this rifle was made. . This one came right from the US Army. WWII dated receiver and WWII dated "SA" Barrel (5-43), pre-D-Day, so was it there??. Correct #6 Op. Rod..Correct Lock-Bar rear sight. End cap on gas cylinder with no hump as is right on the early ones. Trigger group with correct forged trigger guard #12. Correct #12 bolt. "P" Proof mark on wrist. Furniture all WWII walnut. 5 Shots inside 3" group at 100 yards, See Target. Mirror bright bore. All S.A. and as correct for WWII as I have seen. More photos and details upon request.
