This gun was purchased from William Brophy in 1988 and sold to the current owner in 1997. It has remained in his collection until now. There is documentation that will accompany the gun. The gun has the stock marking pictured on page number 572 of Brobhy's book on the 1903. The gun is all correct as you can see in the pictures. The barrel is star gauged with the mark on the muzzle. The barrel is dated 3 / 39 and the receiver is SN 1532681 which falls into the same time period. The scope is a 1949 model. A close look at the pictures will show you the details.
