The gun is a 20 gauge gun with one 28” barrel choked full and one 26” barrel choked improved cylinder. The gun was custom made for Ithaca Plant Foreman, Mr. J. S. Hope with fancy wood and checkering and the standard M37 engraving pattern recut by William McGraw, including gold initials (JSH) inlaid on the trigger guard. The gun comes in a fitted case that Mr. Hope had made for the gun. Gun is like new without a mark on it. The wood is simply outstanding. Includes an official letter from historian Walter C.
