Description: Up for sale is a used C. Sharps 1863 New Model Rifle (.52 Cal.). This item has a 30” barrel and wood stocks. The bore shows some pitting but the rifling is still very strong. These units utilized the paper cartridges and this particular rifle is still in the original configuration. The exterior shows very light pitting and most of the original finish is still intact. The flip up ladder sight looks like it was broken a long time ago. The stocks show scratches and dings in the wood as would be expected from a rifle of its age. D.O.M. is 1865.
