Semi-auto Browning 1919A4 Guns > Rifles > Browning Rifles > Semi Auto > Semi-Auto Machine Gun
Description: Manufacturer: Original manufacturer unknown. Converted from .30-06 to .308 by the Israeli military, and has some Israeli parts (barrel, feed stop, etc.). Converted to semi-auto by Allied Armament of Oregon, and bears an Allied Armament right sideplate which has been subtly stamped with the make, model, serial, and a small logo. Getting these marks to show up in the photograph is very difficult, but the logo is visible as a five-pointed star in the top-left of the receiver, and the writing is beneath the charging handle.

Caliber: .308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO

Serial Number: In the low 150s (yes, a three digit serial number).

Condition: Very Good. There are some small scratches in the parkerized finish of the barrel shroud from routine use by me. It was freshly reparkerized before I purchased it back in 2005. The receiver and internal components is in excellent condition with no scratching. Minor wear consistent with usage is present on some internal moving parts like the feed pawl lever and the rails on the bolt -- by "wear", I mean "the metal is shiny from use but not worn down". The trunion has two minor wear marks from firing disintegrating link belts without a trunion protector. This appears to be superficial wear of the parkerizing, not any gouges into the metal.

I do not believe the gun is welded together -- it has numerous rivets holding it together (as evidenced in the picture), and a heat mark on the of the receiver beneath the link ejection port. Any other blemishes in the photograph are oily fingerprints, as I had just gotten done cleaning it. If you want more pictures, please let me know. People in the Tucson area are welcome to stop by and give it a look in person.

Accessories: It wears an Allied Armament stainless steel trunion protector, which lasts forever and costs about $15 if one needs to replace it. Helps prevent trunion wear when using metal link belts. I also have a large but unknown amount of USGI and Israeli links. I estimate the total number of links to be in the 750-1000 range, though I admit I have not counted them. If desired, I can count them. I believe I have about 300 Israeli links, but they are mixed in with the USGI ones -- they're identifiable by subtle clues, and I haven't bothered to sort them out yet.

I also have a 10 round linker made by Laminatrap at 1919a4.com that allows one to rapidly load metal belts without tearing your fingers up. This is solidly built from aluminum and steel, and can easily seat .308, .30-06, and 8mm Mauser rounds into links with little effort.

Included at no extra cost, if desired, is my home-built "tripod". Not everyone has a metal shop in their house, nor is terribly good with woodworking. No traverse option -- only elevation. This is a crude attempt by me to allow for shooting when a rest or stand is not available.

Price: These guns normally cost about $1,200+ after shipping, FFL fees, etc. For a face-to-face buyer, I'd let it go for about $1,000 for the gun. 100 Israeli links would be included with the gun. Additional links would be about $10/100 links. The link loader normally costs ~100+shipping, and I'm looking to get about $90 for it. I'm willing to negotiate within reason.

I'd prefer to sell this face-to-face, as there's less hassle than shipping it to a dealer. I reserve the right to refuse to sell this firearm, and the right to transfer this firearm through a dealer.

If a face to face buyer is not forthcoming and it ends up being shipped to an FFL, the buyer will pay shipping costs (I don't charge "handling" fees or whatnot).

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask, either in the thread or by private message. This is my first time selling a gun on GunsAmerica, so if I've left out some detail that you'd like, let me know and I'd be glad to provide it.
