Description: BSW, German made in Suhl. BSW was produced by Simson during WWII. 12ga, 2 ¾" chambers, SxS, Action locks tight. Blue on barrel and triggerguard near 50%. Case colors faded to gray. Rounded pistol grip style stock, with slight hunting wear. Crack in stock (see photo). Crack doesn’t seem to effect performance, and there is no movement in crack when opening and closing gun. Forearm has alittle play in it. Chipped buttplate. Proofed June 1938, so C&R ok. WWII era gun. Double triggers, screws look perfect, scalloped action, nitro proofed, Rt handed cheek piece, extractors, sling swivels, rib extension. Barrel bores have some pitting to mid barrel. Barrels are 29.5" long and choked at full (dime will not enter end of barrel). Barrel stamped with SVENSKT SPECIALSTAL SANDIKL (Swedish special steel). LOP is 14 3/8" over original buttplate. Inspection/Returns - If there is any undisclosed problem with an item Blackbern LLC sends to you, please email ASAP. There is a THREE-DAY non-shooting examination period. If the Buyer does fire the firearm at any time during the inspection period, the sale is considered final. Inspection consists of external examination, functioning the action by hand to see it operates as advertised, checking bore and having headspace checked by a gunsmith. No further disassembly is permitted, include but not limited to turning any screws or removing any punch pins. Firearms are sold as collectibles and have not been test fired nor headspaced. A qualified gunsmith should examine all firearms before shooting. The product must be returned in the same condition as received and freight paid. Do not return the product COD as it will be refused. Shipping is not reimbursable. Be sure to pack and insure correctly. A refund will be made the next business day under normal circumstance. Payment is expected within 10 days. Payment can be made by money order, personal check, or cashiers check. Personal/business checks are discouraged and can take up to 15 days to clear. Please say what you paid for! SHIPPING- I try to ship within 2-3 business days or less. All rifles/shotguns are shipped in new plastic hardcases inside a cardboard box to prevent damage. If you do not want the case, it can be returned for a $13 refund. I am tired of fighting with UPS and FedEx and this seems to have solved 99% of the problems associated with shipping damage.
