FRENCH RESISTANCE HIDEAWAY REVOLVER Guns > Pistols > Antique (Pre-1899) Pistols - Ctg. Misc.
Description: ***SALE PENDING***This little revolver was brought back from Paris, France by Lt. Edwin D. McKay, US Army. He was stationed in Paris during and just after WWII and married a prominent French girl. One of the couple's friends gave him this revolver telling him the story of how he had carried it through the war years during his involvement with the French Free Underground against the German occupation. The metal is as smooth as glass from being carried in someone's pants pocket for many years. It needs some adjustment to work properly. It is 5-1/4" long. The barrel and right side of the frame are marked with star over the letters "T" and "A" combined. The right side of the barrel is also marked with a crown over the letter "R". The left side of the frame just in front of the cylinder is marked with with the letters "M U" over "B T." It is approximately .38 cal. with a folding trigger and safety. If this one could only talk!!
