Fabrik Steyr Modelo 1912-61 Chilean Mauser-98 action- short rifle in 308 Nato. 24" barrel with xlt bore-bright & shiney with sharp lands, 85% blue with some thinning on exposed parts, no rust or pitting, all matching except for bolt but is correct Steyr bolt and has been headspaced, excellent Chilean crest on reciever ring, good solid original walnut stock with Chilean crest & has a few dings & dents but no cracks or repairs, a real good stock to re-finish, has one small crack on handguard behind rear sight that has been glued-repaired, Chile converted these from 7mm Mauser to 308 Nato in the early sixties. Not to many of these around anymore. C&R-OK.
