The reason for the double grade designation is that this 11-87 Remington SPS Magnum with 3 ½ inch chamber is right on the line of a 90 percent grade, in our estimation. There is one small, lightly pitted spot on the upper left side of the receiver and some brown toning on the top of the vent rib that affects perhaps 10 percent of that surface’s area. Other than a couple more small brownish spots on the receiver, there is some whitening weakness at the frame edges only, and 5 small white spots on the trigger guard assembly. Barrel’s finish is somewhat weakened around the muzzle edge area. Still, we consider that 90 percent of the original metal finish remains, but we have included sufficient photography for prospective owners of this fine shotgun to judge finish grade for themselves. Stock and forend show very little, and very mild at that, surface scuffing. Bore and mechanism are excellent, and this Special Purpose Synthetic Remington 11-87 has all 3 of its original choke tubes. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges.
