I used to collect the great old Hawes sixguns from Germany, and this was a spare or project that I picked up. The gun is mechanically very tight, good lockup and great bore. However, the gun is completely missing the firing pin assembly, looks like a previous owner was trying to switch from the older small firong pin bushing to the new larger one, as there is evidence of drilling but its still undersize for the large bushing. The gun is also missing the cylinder base pin, spring and screw; these were used to restore a better gun. This gun is a great parts source or can be restored to firing condition, in which case its a great .357 for a great price. No grips are included, but repro's of the original Hawes jigged bone grips can be obtained off the net. Even without firing pin, gun must be shipped to your FFL or picked up locally in FTF transfer in Ft. Worth, TX. Payment by USPS MO, Bank MO or Bank Cashier's check, must clear before shipping.
