The near-neighbor to this Revolver, the Uberti Texas Ranger 1847 Walker Replica, commands book values approaching $2,000.00. We believe this one, Italian made by Armi San Marco, is of equal quality. Top of barrel heavy section reads 34 of 1000, and the serial number is E645xx.
Finish is excellent. The only detractions are as follows. Gold wash inlay in bands on front of barrel and cylinder is weak. Gold wash inlay to the words TEXAS RANGER and the Lone Star logo on left side of barrel are substantial and strong, perhaps 85 percent of their original strength. Brass trigger guard and frontstrap are toned and somewhat spotty. There is light spotting on the frame and barrel sides that affects perhaps 10 percent of their area. A similar condition prevails with the hammer; and there is a light dark scratch on the right grip panel about ½ inch long. Bore shows possible 5 percent light pitting well rearward from the muzzle. Cylinder chambers are excellent. We consider this fine revolver to be in Excellent Condition, with some 90 percent of its finish remaining; the ultimate judge of finish, however, is the buyer, and we believe interested parties can assess finish grade from the photos. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
