This is a very clean 1886 26" Octagon Barrel Rifle in .45-90WCF, made in 1910. The bore is beautiful. The wood is very good, but shows some use. There is a split in the forend on both sides near the top of the forend cap - just visible on the right, and about 3" long on the left. There is also a dent in the wood just below the rear sight on the right and annn other on the right lower front. The receiver is silvered, and there is light, surface pitting on the barrel. Barrel and mag tube retain about 60% or their original blue. The gun is perfect mechanically.
