With an M prefix and 107xx, this Model 51 – with no suffix – has a 3.5 inch barrel, adjustable sights, and square butt. It was manufactured in 1970. Its detractions chiefly consist in weakness to the blue on the sides of the barrel, and spotty areas to the bright blue finish that affect, by our estimate, 15 to 20 percent of the surface area. Like most older .22 Magnums, this one has seen very little actual firing, as the cylinder face can attest. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are excellent. Grips rate at about 80 percent, with wear concentrated on the high points of ridges near the butt and oil darkening near the top of the grip panels, especially the right one. Hammer travels about 5 degrees after timing on double action, and ten or fifteen degrees on single action. We consider this Model 51 to be in Very Good Condition, 80 or 85 percent finishwise; the photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish for themselves. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
