Serial # 22xxx, circa early 1870's ( awaiting Jinks letter). Probably the finest example of a 2nd model American extant. This piece is totally original retaining 98% + nickel on the barrel and frame and 85% on the cylinder, two chambers account for most of the lose. Hammer and trigger with 90%+ of there original CC & blue, respectively. Flaked areas are smooth and clean. Address is crisp and clear with no wear in the area All numbers match, grips are excellent, breech face, muzzle and face of cylinder show no evidence of his piece having been fired.
