This is a set of factory Colt grips for the later model Diamondbacks, made in the 1980s. Distance from the logo stud to the center of the grip stud hole is 1.905 inches. For your Diamondback to fit these grips, the height of the grip frame front strap, measured perpendicular to the grip strap butt, should be 1.75 inches. This set, then, is for the D frame, including the Diamondback, in its latest variation with the short, stubby grip frame. The blemish to this set of genuine Colt Factory grips for the Diamondback, or most D-frame Colts, is not noticeable, much less conspicuous. The right panel has a surface crack on its very backstrap that begins about halfway down and terminates in a flake end about ¾ inch up from the butt end. The end photo should show the crack. Apart from that one place, the finish is Excellent, 95 percent in our opinion. Own this fine set of hard-to-get factory Diamondback grips for only $ 119.95
