Description: The principal detraction to this .410 ga Model 11-48 Remington shotgun is on the right center side of the buttstock, where our area gunsmith had to remove and fill a metal oval logo that its previous owner had embedded in the stock. The affected area is 1 inch by 1.5 inches. It is no longer conspicuous, but it is visible in the photo. The wood has no cracks, just normal wear and we estimate that the wood finish is 70 to 80 percent, aforementioned repair aside. The metal retains most of its original blue finish; and the receiver is more affected by whitish brown patina and spotting than is the barrel. Barrel has strong original blue, 80 percent or more by our estimate. We rate the receiver at 60 percent, mainly due to a lightly pitted exterior on the left side of the receiver. Bolt’s original chrome finish is almost entirely intact, and the carrier or floorplate surface is a brownish blue patina, somewhat spotty. Interior of the receiver, and the bore and chamber, are perfect. The shotgun is mechanically sound with all its original parts intact. It does not appear to have been fired very much, indeed, .410 shells have always been pricey. Barrel is 26 inches long, marked Imp Cyl and date coded D A, September 1954. Muzzle constriction is .407, Modified in comparison with its modern successors. This shotgun handles both 3 inch and 2.5 inch shells. We have not test fired it, but we recommend Remington, Winchester, or Federal Hi-Power shells. This is a very nice, functional little .410 automatic. We rarely come across these, although we pursue them diligently when we hear of them. Own this one for only $ 389.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
