This revolver’s serial number is 145xxx. According to the Supica and Nahas serialization, 1957 production ended with number 125000, and extant records show 295000 at the beginning of 1962, so we estimate this revolver was manufactured some time in 1958, 1959 at the latest. The only detractions to this revolver are its cylinder being lightly marked and its not having a box. Grips are excellent plain oil finish. Cylinder blackening is minimal, and this revolver appears to have only been fired at the factory itself. From our experience, this variant, 3 inch blue square butt, is much less common than its more popular 2 inch counterparts. We’re offering this vintage, mint condition S&W 3” light barrel Chief’s Special, .38 Special, for only $649.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
