Serial # W084875 M. Pump action, field grade, 12 GA, either 2 ¾" or 3" shot shells. The barrel is 21" vent rib no marks at all, the vent rib has white front bead and a middle bead. Modified choke, earlier style with an integeral choke does not have or equipped with screw in chokes, and a standard smooth trigger. It has a tube magazine. The receiver / frame is in excellent condition. It appears to be unfired, no primer marks on the bolt face. The forend or pump is a slim shortened slide handle with a very little mar on fingergroove of pump, in very good A+ condition. Except for slight ware on left operating rod in new condition. The butt stock has a couple of superficial scratches. It has a 14 3/8" LOP over a Remington recoil pad, cut checkering. The markings on receiver are; Remington Model 870 Special, On barrel; 12 GA use 2 ¾" or 3" shells in Magnum receivers/ use3 only 2 ¾" in all others".
