This Winchester 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine is a nice representative of a relatively short, initial run of the .44 Magnum after 1964. Serial number is 32307xxM, 1969 Manufacture. Its chief detractions are at two places. One is the lower flat surface of the lever that has been scuffed and cold blued; a similar situation applies to the tang underneath the lever. Then, on the bottom heel of the buttstock between the swivel and buttplate, there is some small light etching of a 1993 date. Other than those two elements, this nice 20 inch barrel carbine is entirely original, and we do not consider the swivel studs to be a detraction. Note the original steel butt plate. Metal is very nice for a 94, only mild weakening to the receiver blue, mostly some white areas at its sharp edges. Barrel and magazine surfaces, indeed the entire blued metal surface, flirts with if not deserves the designation Excellent. Blond buttstock and forend have extensive light scuffing that affects perhaps 25 percent of their surface, with the most detraction at the bottom heel area of the buttstock where the surface area has been buffed lightly. Bore and mechanism are excellent. We’re offering this very nice old .44 Magnum Winchester 1894 for only $ 489.95
