This old High Standard came from an estate in Carroll County, Tennessee. Like many of its peers we often see, notably Rugers, it spent a good bit of its life in a pickup truck and fishing tackle box. By strict finish grading on an external basis, it will probably rate Good 60 percent at best. Note, however, the excellent bore and strength of non-exposed parts like the barrel lug screw. Even though we judiciously use the words Brown Patina, there is still a fair amount of original bluing visible. The magazine and bore are Very Good if not excellent; there are no cracks in the grips, and this pistol lives up to its name. Serially numbered 1837xxx, it was manufactured in 1967 – a 10-shot .22 LR auto with 4 ½” barrel. Appropriately named Duramatic. After 40 years of service, it is still eminently serviceable. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
