This old rifle will command people’s attention with its 33 inch barrel and imposing 52 inches overall length alone; but add the curves, sights, and side loading gate and it will become a conversation piece, the envy of your guests. This is an early bolt action Swiss Military Rifle, manufactured shortly after our War Between the States, no later than the 1880s. The rifle is completely original, all that is missing is its ramrod. It is in at least Good condition, probably Very Good. Spotting or light rust affects about 40 percent of the metal surface, but only in such a say as to give it a bluish-brown patina; some of the original bluing, perhaps as much as 20 percent, remains. Walnut musket stock no cracks that we can see, and is smooth enough on 75 to 80 percent of its surface. Except for one place forward of the lower right receiver side, contact wear is at most moderate. Bore is fair: the rifling is pronounced, but there is about 80 percent crustiness, which we have sealed with Rem-oil. If a person actually had some ammo, and wanted to blow them at $20 a pop, we think the rifling would have some effect, but the bore is what a person would expect for a 125-year-old rifle originally chambered for black powder cartridges. We have not allowed this rifle to be snapped in the year or so that we have had it. Own this very Nice old .41 Swiss for only $169.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
