We have continuous firearms disposition records from 1958 to the present. This one narrowly missed being included when it was new, since one of our Law Enforcement Cousins bought it, either from my father or uncle, Fred or Carmack Robertson, likely in 1957. Cousin David Melton retired in the late 1980s from the Marion County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department as Captain. Ocala is the County Seat. This Chief Special’s serial number is 966xx, locating it as part of the 1956 production from 2100 Roosevelt Avenue in Springfield, Massachusetts. It is a flat latch Chief’s Special / Pre-Model 36, and it has its original Diamond Grips. We consider it to be in Excellent Condition. There is a bit of surface scuffing to the grips’ high points, and some narrow white showing on its sharp edges, but very little cylinder marking from rotation. We have included, anyway, sufficient photography for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore and Cylinder chambers are excellent, and there is only minimal blacking to the cylinder’s front face. We have not cleaned this revolver; it didn’t need it. We’re offering this Excellent 1956 Flat-Latch, Diamond Grip Chief’s Special 2” Blue Round Butt for only $519.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
