1933 Savage Fox in excellent original condition. Barrels are 28”, 95% original blue, 2 ¾” chambers, mirror bores, ring like chimes, choked LM/F (.015/.027). Action retains 70% original case color, barrels tight on face, lever way right of center, tight on hinge, exc. screws, trigger guard has almost all of the original blue. Wood is all original finish with sharp original checkering, 13 3/8” LOP to vintage Ranger Pad, 2 3/8” drop at heel, 1 ½” drop at comb, no cracks or repairs, forend excellent as well. This fine little upland gun weighs just 5lbs. 13oz. and is mechanically excellent. Some bonehead fitted the pad without taping off the stock and removed some of the finish on the butt stock as shown in photos. Price reflects this defect. I can have the stock refinished for $250 if you wish, or buy at this bargain price and shoot away. More pictures---just ask. See my other Classic American Doubles by clicking “GA STORE” in my add.
