It has the appropriately labeled box and fired brass. It comes with 2 Smith & Wesson keys. Some of the surface aspects that we describe are quite possibly original to this particular revolver. As most of us realized years ago, a Smith & Wesson is not a Colt: S&W factory finishes have always been a little rough by comparison with their less-corporately successful competitor, Colt. On this revolver, detracting features include light vertical scuffing directly behind cylinder on both sides of frame and diagonally above grips. This is not conspicuous except under close scrutiny and in direct light. Trigger guard has some evidence of buffing and about 10 percent of the underside area is affected with light, inconspicuous scratching. MTM trigger is more black than casehardened in appearance. Floating firing pin’s hammer surface is affected by about 30 percent light spotting; again, visible under close scrutiny only. All of this is quite possibly original to this revolver, and we have similar brand new S&Ws that appear very similar. Exposed area of the cylinder pin is scuffed in a circular pattern from rotation. There is light buffing to the streaked finish around the muzzle. Initials 3G are on the bottom of the original Michael’s grips. Despite these detractions, this 65-6 has a strong suit. Cylinder front blacking is moderate, conspicuous on 3 chambers. There is moderate blacking above forcing cone on underside of topstrap. Top of barrel’s satin finish is intact except for buffing effect beside front sight ramp. Matte frame top finish is fully intact. Double action pull is smooth and uniform. Timing is excellent. Single action pull is light, probably less than 4 pounds. We consider this revolver to be in Excellent Condition, 90 to 95 percent. There is sufficient photography, though, for interested parties to finish grade for themselves. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony. GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
