S&W 65-3 Sts 4 in VG Mfg. 1985 Guns > Pistols > Smith & Wesson Revolvers > Full Frame Revolver

This Smith & Wesson Stainless K-Frame .357 Magnum’s serial number prefix is AJA, locating its date of manufacture some time in late 1985, according to Supica’s and Nahas’s serialization. Its surface is affected by numerous light to moderate contact scuffs and scratches, about 20 percent of the surface area by our estimate. Note first the hand-reiterated serial number inside the frame above the trigger area. These are not terribly conspicuous, because we have polished the revolver. Surfaces on the satin stainless hammer and trigger are Very Good to Excellent, and not so affected. Replacement Michaels grips are Very Good with no major detractions. Carbon blast to the frame topstrap underside directly above the forcing cone is moderate, and we do not detect any actual cutting on the topstrap from blast. We classify this revolver as Very Good mechanically for the following reasons. Lateral play to the cylinder in lock position is about 1 mm each direction. Hammer travels an additional 5 to 8 degrees on double action after the cylinder locks into place; single action positions range from 5 degrees additional travel on about half the chamber positions to lockup when the hammer reaches standing position on a very slow motion cocking effort. Bore, rifling, and cylinder chambers are Excellent. Double action trigger pull is very smooth and moderate; and the single action pull is a very crisp, light 3 pounds or so. This 65-3 Smith & Wesson revolver comes in a factory generic brown box with the appropriate bar-coded label. We’re offering this good, solid, eminently serviceable model 65-3 for only $ 269.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
