REDUCED! This pistol was made at Hartford by Colt in 1916 for commercial sale. It was expertly refinished in the past as I know it couldn'd be in this condition unless it had been in storage since 1916. The grips appear original as they do show some use. It comes with a proper tu-tone magazine. All of the parts are original except for a correct Colt barrel. All of the markings are crisp and clear with no smearing or other indications of refinishing. All of the mechanics appear to function well and if one wished it could be fired upon receipt. I am told that Colt only made one commercial model for every twenty-five hundred Goverment purchased 1911s. The white spot in the picture on the left side of the slide is a flash reflection.
