Interesting and very rare Colt SAA variation done in 1913 and lasted til all the cylinders from their failed Model 1878 Double Action Revolver were used up.Colt never through anything out! They adopted the cylinder for their popular SAA.This cylinder also has a different bushing.Have Factory Letter! See Keith Cochrans’ "Colt Peacemaker Encyclopedia" Vol 1 page 249.Only 1479 revolvers were made using the surplus cylinders. This gun has a 4 3/4 inch barrel and is 45 LC. This is a grey gun with very light pitting on the left side on barrel and frame. 100 % original inside and out, with original rubber grips. This "long flute" varition of the Colt SAA is rarely seen. Now is your chance to own one.FFL needed. Thanks! 2/8/08: Just reduced price of gun by a total of$1100.00!
$100.00 includes transfer and UPS shipping and insurance.

I have been collecting Colt SAA's and Deringer pistols for over 30 years. I am now retired and would like to sell many items from my collection. I have vast experience as a Ebay seller and my word is my bond. My Feedback on Ebay is 100% and I plan to keep it that way! You can call or email me with any questions you may have on any gun I am selling. I have no FFL and most of my guns are antique.
