This rifle has been in the same family since it was new, late 1950s, until recently. The custom inlay was performed in California in the early 1960s. Barrel length is 24 inches, and the mechanism, bore and chamber are excellent. Rear sight was replaced by a period 1960s Weaver steel tube B-4 scope with plain crosshairs. Scope has its original covers, but the elastic is loose and the windage turret cover is missing. Metal rates about 75 to 80 percent by our estimate, with some white contact streaking on top of the barrel and brown patina developing at places. Trigger guard and magazine guard furniture are very goo, 70 to 80 percent original blue. The buttstock has no serious scratching, only a couple of mild scuffs and scratches on the right side of the stock and a few pecks underneath. Wood is excellent, about 90 percent, preserved from its 1960s customized refinish; and the forend tip has some birdseye figure to its maple. This is a nice old rifle with no more than normal wear. The custom work, were it done nowadays, would run upwards of $200. We’re offering this nice old Stevens Bolt Action model 84 for only $ 179.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
